Hainault Roads Club's Howard Staunton achieved a new PB for a ten mile time trial last Saturday.
As part the club's three man contingent in the Cambridge CC promoted event on the E2 course near Newmarket, Staunton crossed the line in a time of twenty one minutes and twenty seconds to place 37nd in a strong field of 95 riders. Mark Steers rode a great race to finish 42nd with 21.35 with Roger Pimm coming in 84th with his time of 23.44. The event was won by Peter Balls of West Suffolk Wheelers with 19.25.
