E14 - 15th June

In the words of the title of the song “Oh what a night”! It absolutely poured down 10 minutes before the start and rained for nearly the whole event. The result sheet was close to disintegrating and we had two punctures.
 
Well done to everyone who started (13 in total) and the marshals, it was a lousy night.
 
Most riders went back between 30 and 45 seconds due to brakes not working adequately etc. the exceptions were Frank and Chris who maintained their usual times and matt Smith who is now having a close battle with Chris and they both did the same time. Pat Smith, on his new bike, improved 30 seconds and there should be more to come on a better evening.
 
The event was won by Howard with 24.25, Roger was 2nd (once he went home for his shoes) and Dylan 3rd.
